Non-Medical Caregiver / Personal Care WorkerJOIN THE SAFECARE AT HOME TEAM
SafeCare at Home, LLC is looking for compassionate, dependable caregivers who enjoy helping people live safely and comfortably at home. If you are patient, attentive, reliable, and take pride in treating people with dignity and respect, we would like to hear from you. Our caregivers provide non-medical, hands-on support and companionship based on each client's individualized care plan. Opportunities may include full-time, part-time, PRN/on-call, day, evening, overnight, weekend, and live-in assignments throughout Chicago, the surrounding suburbs, and Cook County.WHAT YOU MAY HELP WITH
- Personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
- Mobility, walking, and transfer assistance within your training and the client care plan.
- Meal preparation, meal planning, and mealtime support.
- Companionship and safe participation in activities at home and in the community.
- Light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and keeping the client's living area safe.
- Medication reminders within the authorized non-medical scope.
- Appointments, shopping, errands, and community activities when authorized.
- Dementia and Alzheimer's support consistent with training and the client's care plan.
- Noticing and reporting meaningful changes or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Shift notes, timekeeping, and EVV when applicable.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR CAREGIVERS WHO ARE
- Compassionate, respectful, dependable, and punctual.
- Good listeners and clear communicators.
- Comfortable following written care plans and client-specific instructions.
- Safety-conscious and able to maintain professional boundaries.
- Able to work independently while staying connected with the care team.
- At least 18 years old and able to complete required screening, orientation, and training.
EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS
Home-care, caregiving, CNA, personal-care, or similar experience is preferred. Current CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained within the timeframe established by SafeCare at Home, LLC. For assignments that involve transporting clients, a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required. Applicable health screening, TB testing, registry checks, and other position requirements must also be completed.SCHEDULE & PAY
Pay:
$18 per hour.Opportunities:
Full-time, part-time, and PRN/on-call. Available assignments may include day, evening, overnight, weekend, and live-in shifts throughout Chicago, the suburbs, and Cook County.A NON-MEDICAL CAREGIVING ROLE
