Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide personal care services including medication administration and monitoring vital signs. Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts and assistance with heavy lifting. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Observe and document changes in clients' conditions, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation, particularly for those with Alzheimer's or dementia care needs. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Uphold HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, home health, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and vital sign monitoring is essential. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism or developmental disabilities, is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including heavy lifting when necessary.
