Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional care for a female client in a home setting. Duties Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote comfort and dignity Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation Support mobility through patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lift and manual handling techniques while ensuring safety at all times Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment and enhance mental well-being Maintain detailed care plans, document patient progress, and adhere to resident's rights and HIPAA privacy regulations Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care settings such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, hospice care, and patient observation techniques Ability to perform patient monitoring including vital signs assessment and medication management Familiarity with assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods; CPR and first aid certification preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is highly desirable Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and perform manual handling tasks as required Valid certifications in home health care or caregiving are advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary credentials is appreciated Join us in this fulfilling role where your dedication directly impacts someone's daily life.
