Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, administering medications, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Support patients with mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks in accordance with health standards Document care plans, patient observations, and communication notes accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality Provide emotional support and companionship to residents or clients, fostering a warm and respectful atmosphere Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and assist with medication administration Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care practices Experience working with individuals with autism or neurodevelopmental disabilities is advantageous Familiarity with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance techniques Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in HIPAA compliance or specialized caregiving are a plus Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and assist with ADLs while maintaining patient dignity and comfort Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
