Private Duty Caregiver/CNA Location:

Summary The Private Duty Caregiver provides personal care and support to clients at Meridian Village according to care plans and directions prepared by the Private Duty Client Care Coordinator. What You'll Do Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, eating, dressing, bathing, toileting, exercise, and ambulation. Provide light housekeeping, bed making, personal laundry, and ironing. Prepare meals based on the client's needs. Communicate changes in the client's physical or emotional status to the Private Duty RN or office staff. Accompany clients to appointments and assist with shopping or errands when needed. Remind clients to take medications as directed. Communicate with Private Duty office staff regarding your schedule and availability. Complete required paperwork and documentation according to company policy. Document tasks and services provided in the client's home. Qualifications Previous experience working with older adults preferred. At least 6 months of experience in private duty or long-term care required . Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and care plans. Reliable transportation. Schedule Full-time, days Monday-Friday No weekends No holidays Physical Requirements & Working Conditions This position requires regular standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and assisting clients with mobility and daily activities. Caregivers work with clients throughout Meridian Village and may be required to assist with transfers, ambulation, and other physical activities associated with providing personal care.
