Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Manager of Home Care & Wellness to oversee our Home Care Program and provide wellness services that promote the health, independence, and quality of life of residents, clients, and employees. Working closely with the Executive Director, this position provides leadership to non-clinical staff, oversees daily operations, ensures regulatory compliance and quality care, and supports program growth. The Manager also serves as a clinical resource for residents and employees and develops engaging wellness and educational programs for the community. What You'll Do Oversee daily Home Care operations, including intake, assessments, care plans, scheduling, staffing, and service delivery Partner with the Executive Director on strategic planning, budgeting, program development, and operational goals Ensure compliance with IDPH regulations, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare requirements Monitor quality, client satisfaction, documentation, and survey readiness Recruit, train, supervise, and develop caregivers and office staff Serve as a clinical resource for residents and employees, providing wellness support, blood pressure checks, health education, and healthcare coordination Offer a weekly Wellness Clinic and lead programs that promote holistic well-being and healthy aging Collaborate with the Director of Life Enrichment to develop creative wellness, activity, and educational programs Provide training and education for non-medical caregivers Build positive relationships with residents, clients, families, healthcare providers, referral sources, and community partners Address concerns and promote exceptional service and client satisfaction Monitor staffing, productivity, expenses, and financial performance Support growth of the Home Care Program through outreach, networking, and referral development Promote a safe environment and support emergency preparedness, incident reporting, and risk management What We're Looking For Current Illinois LPN or RN license in good standing and relevant clinical experience required Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Management, Gerontology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum of two years of leadership experience in home care, home health, senior living, wellness, or a related healthcare setting Experience supervising staff and managing operations, scheduling, and budgets Knowledge of IDPH regulations and home care compliance requirements Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to develop and lead wellness and educational programs for older adults Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems Genuine passion for supporting the health, wellness, and independence of older adults Benefits & Perks Medical, dental, and vision insurance 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Generous paid time off (PTO) Tuition reimbursement Complimentary lunch meal Employee recognition programs and events Apply Today!
