As a caregiver, you'll be a vital part of our clients' lives-providing not just care, but comfort, companionship, and peace of mind. Responsibilities Caregivers at Amada Senior Care Elgin/Rockford assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. They provide emotional support and meaningful companionship, support mobility including gait belt assistance and sit-to-stand transfers, perform light housekeeping to maintain a safe home environment, and build trusting relationships with clients and their families. Requirements We are looking for individuals with proven hands-on experience providing compassionate and attentive care to those in need, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Preferred candidates will have experience in senior care and a compassionate, service-oriented mindset. Applicants must be able to assist with physical tasks and lifting, and familiarity with memory care is a plus. Strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and reliable personal transportation are required to ensure punctuality and flexibility in meeting client needs across various locations.
