Job Description
Client Located in Lisle, IL Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10AM-2PM $20/Hr Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including geriatrics, outpatient clinics, and hospital medicine. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients through personalized care and assistance. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Help with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within the home and to appointments. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to healthcare professionals. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop individualized tailored to each client's needs. Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed. Experience Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related healthcare role is preferred. Familiarity with various medical settings such as Level I Trauma Center, Level II Trauma Center, inpatient care, outpatient services, emergency medicine, and pediatric intensive care (PICU) is advantageous. Knowledge of geriatric care practices and the ability to work effectively with elderly clients is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families are crucial for success in this role.
