Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver to join our team for our Mokena client. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients in a variety of settings, including their homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting patients with their daily living activities, monitoring their health, and providing emotional support.Duties:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide home health care, including administering medications and performing wound care.
- Prepare meals and snacks for patients, as needed.
- Engage patients in activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
- Perform ADLs, including toileting, feeding, and transferring patients.
- Provide CPR and first aid as needed.
- Assist patients with long-term care, including managing their daily routines and providing emotional support.
- Work closely with patients and their families to understand their unique needs and preferences.
Skills:
- Experience in patient monitoring and vital sign measurement.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid techniques.
- Ability to provide care in a variety of settings, including the patient's home, nursing home, and assisted living facility.
- Skill in preparing meals and snacks for patients.
- Experience in long-term care and assisted living facilities.
- Understanding of ADLs and the importance of assisting patients with their daily living activities.
- Ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Familiarity with home health care and the ability to provide care in a patient's home setting.
