Job Description

Director of Training and Quality Home Instead | Moline, IL | Full Time | Travel to Six Offices in Illinois and Iowa The Opportunity We are a locally owned, six-location Home Instead franchise serving families across Illinois and Iowa. The owner is looking for an experienced leader to own training, retention, and care quality across the enterprise. You will set the standard for how Care Professionals and office staff are trained, certify a trainer in every office to deliver it, personally onboard every new office staff hire, conduct exit interviews, and design the engagement and retention programs our General Managers execute. You will read the turnover, incident, and complaint trends across six offices and turn them into action. You report directly to the owner, serve as one of two enterprise directors, and give direction to General Managers on the owner's behalf. This is a build-the-system role, not a deliver-the-training role. What You Bring Five or more years in training, quality, or people leadership, with at least three years responsible for more than one location or team A track record of designing programs that other managers had to execute, and getting them to do it Experience certifying or coaching others to deliver training Comfort with structured conversations: onboarding touchpoints, stay interviews, exit interviews The ability to read turnover and incident data and see the pattern The maturity to give direction to experienced managers outside your reporting line Home care or senior living experience strongly preferred Valid driver's license and ability to travel to all six offices What We Offer Comparative salary based on experience Health, dental, vision, life, 401(k) with match, paid time off and holidays A direct line to the owner and the authority to run your function A stable, growing, locally owned company that invests in its people If this sounds like you, we would be glad to hear from you.
