As a private caregiver for the elderly and individuals who are ill, those recently discharged from in-patient hospitalization, your role will be crucial in ensuring our client's well-being and enhancing the client's quality of life. Homemakers are responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.
Your primary duties will include:
Companionship:
Building a strong and supportive relationship with the client through engaging conversations and shared activities. Accompanying the clients to social outings, grocery shopping, medication reminders and monitoring Assistance with
Daily Activities:
Assists clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, bathing, hair care, shaving (only done with an electric shaver), denture care, oral hygiene, toileting, transferring while respecting the client's dignity and promoting independence, light housekeeping, light laundry, in accordance with the individual service plan.
Mobility Support:
Assisting with walking, transferring, and physical activities while encouraging stimulating exercises, ensuring safety, and preventing falls.
Nutrition:
Light meal and snack preparation. Encourage and monitor nutritional intake. Maintain clients' records daily in a timely manner and in accordance with Pream Homecare policy and procedures, document incidents, and observations, report any changes in client's physical condition and/or behavior observed, and reports the health and emotional condition of each client that we service and promptly reports all changes to the administrator.
