Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
• Providing medication reminders
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for clients

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of systems for assisting individuals with disabilities or special needs
• Familiarity with assisted living or nursing home environments
• Ability to work with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
