Job Description
Hiring part time Direct Care Staff with The Arc of the Wabash Valley to work weekends in the Attica Indiana area to positively impact their community while working with some remarkable individuals with intellectual and development disabilities. The Arc of the Wabash Valley strives to facilitate the integration of persons with disabilities into every aspect of community living and our Direct Care Staff support this mission by assisting with daily activities, personal care, medication administration, providing transportation to social and recreational activities and building appropriate social skills and relationships. In addition to a great sense of satisfaction in knowing they are making a difference every day, The Arc of the Wabash Valley Direct Care Staff enjoy flexible hours, mileage reimbursement and the potential for quarterly bonuses. Our ideal candidates are dependable, compassionate, organized and enjoys working with others. Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided! Qualified applicants must be 18 years of age, have a valid Driver's License and active liability auto insurance coverage, and must be able to pass a background check.
