Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence while delivering personalized care tailored to each person's unique needs. Avon location is looking for a non smoker, loves cats, able to drive client in your personal vehicle to appointments,errands, activities. Weekly hours are a total of 27 per the clients waiver. Schedule would be 6 hours a day 3 days a week (days are flexible) and 3 evenings Tues/Thursday/Saturday 4-7 pm. Must have drivers license, proof of insurance and personal vehicle. Meet and greet will be required with client prior to final job offer. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor patients' health by observing changes and reporting findings accurately and promptly to agency staff. Medication reminders, prepare nutritious meals, and assist with feeding as needed. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in social activities and communication to promote mental well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces. Support clients in assisting with transportation for appointments or errands. Document all care activities accurately in client records, including patient observations, medication reminders, and any incidents or changes in condition. Experience Certification in CPR, and a negative TB test are required. Prior experience working in home health care, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes, is a plus but not necessary to apply. Demonstrated ability to provide patient personal care assistance and support individuals with disabilities. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensures compliance with privacy standards during all caregiving activities. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams are essential to success in this role.
