Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in the place the senior calls home. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for seniors by providing personalized care that ensures safety, comfort, and dignity. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities and health management. Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing specialized memory care techniques Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely and effectively Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks Document care activities accurately using Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems Assist with transportation or driving residents to appointments or activities as needed Follow all safety procedures, including first aid protocols and emergency response plans Engage in ongoing training related to caregiving best practices, behavior management, and long-term care standards Qualifications Ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities of any kind Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting Valid driver's license for transportation duties preferred but not mandatory Demonstrated ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting with Hoyer lifts or assisting with mobility Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting resident privacy This role is vital in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of residents across various care environments.
