Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Care Giver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care and daily living support. This vital role involves delivering high-quality care in various settings, including residential care homes, assisted living facilities, and community-based environments. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of those they serve. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety guidelines Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration to ensure health stability Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies Operate manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with resident transfers Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, resident progress, and any incidents or changes in condition Engage in behavior management techniques to support residents with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments Follow infection control procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing care areas regularly Communicate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care Skills Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care environments Strong knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, and memory care best practices Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and heavy lifting when required Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and medication administration protocols Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to caregiving Experience working with individuals with disabilities or cognitive impairments Knowledge of first aid procedures and CPR certification for emergency response readiness Competence in home & community care settings along with group home experience Ability to operate standard passenger cars safely for client transportation if needed Skilled in manual handling techniques and safe patient lifting practices This full-time position is designed for motivated individuals eager to provide meaningful support while advancing their caregiving skills. Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
