Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private Caregiver to provide personalized, high-quality care to individuals in their homes or community settings. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and independence Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, recognizing changes, and reporting findings accurately Administer medications following prescribed care plans and ensure proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Support clients with mobility using appropriate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a trusting relationship through attentive communication Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Assist with transportation for medical appointments or community outings, ensuring safety during travel Requirements Proven experience working as a caregiver in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders Certification in CPR and first aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks as needed for patient transfer or mobility assistance Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, memory care residents, or individuals requiring hospice or palliative care Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client outings or appointments Join our team to provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
