Our home care office is searching for a part time In Home Caregiver for a client located in Greencastle, IN! We are home care office located in Greenwood Indiana, however we service the whole state of Indiana. This energetic role offers the opportunity to provide essential assistance to our client with daily living activities such as cleaning, cooking, mobility assistance, shopping, prescription pick up, and as needed activity. We are dedicated to fostering a positive environment where your caregiving skills help clients maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life. Whether working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness, your dedication will create a lasting impact. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, and other mobility aids safely Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any incidents in compliance with healthcare regulations Support clients' emotional well-being through companionship, active listening, and engaging activities Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care plans Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or hospice needs preferred Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and team members Join us if you're passionate about providing dedicated caregiving that empowers individuals to live comfortably and confidently at home. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
