Job Description
Homewatch CareGivers of South Indy is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver with Dementia Care Certification to provide personalized support for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia in the comfort of their own homes. Our caregivers play a vital role in helping clients maintain dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life. Responsibilities may include providing meaningful companionship, supporting established routines, assisting with bathing and grooming, preparing meals, performing light housekeeping, providing medication reminders, and assisting with other daily activities. The caregiver will use dementia-informed approaches to promote comfort, engagement, and a calm, familiar environment. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, observant, and able to respond compassionately to the changing needs and behaviors that may accompany dementia. Strong communication skills, prior caregiving experience, and current Dementia Care or Memory Care Certification are required.
