Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, helping clients with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support. Your enthusiasm and proactive approach will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve, fostering a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Support with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, medication administration, and overall condition; promptly report any concerns. Help clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation. Maintain accurate documentation of care plans, patient progress, and incident reports in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, including developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders. Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care best practices. Ability to perform patient observation and monitor vital signs effectively. Familiarity with assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments. Skilled in manual handling techniques such as heavy lifting and patient transfers using Hoyer lifts or other equipment. Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaborating with healthcare teams on care plans. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications like HIPAA compliance are preferred. Experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities is highly valued. Capable of providing personal transportation assistance safely when needed. Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 21.0 per week
