reviews $14.00 - $16.50 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving environments, including home health, assisted living, and group homes. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Monitor and document patient vital signs and changes in condition Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, including light housekeeping tasks Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans Support clients with mobility needs, including the use of Hoyer lifts when necessary Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and social interaction Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing, social work, or direct support is preferred Knowledge of first aid and CPR is essential; certification is a required Experience working in home health, hospice care, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is beneficial A compassionate attitude towards working with seniors and individuals with disabilities, including autism Ability to follow care plans accurately while providing personalized support TB Test required Must have valid driver's license and willing to transport client Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.
