Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care, companionship, and daily living support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, patients, or clients by promoting their independence, safety, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will work closely with healthcare teams, families, and community resources to deliver personalized care that enhances quality of life. Responsibilities Assist residents or patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support Monitor and observe patient conditions, documenting changes in health status and reporting to healthcare professionals promptly Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual preferences, ensuring safety during meal preparation Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain patient safety and confidentiality Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs safely during transfers and mobility support Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning patient areas and laundry Support patients with specialized needs including dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, autism support, or hospice care Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable Knowledge of patient observation techniques and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is a plus Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks consistently Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and families Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others Join our team as a Caregiver if you are passionate about providing empathetic support while developing your skills in a rewarding environment.
