Job Summary Join our compassionate caregiving team as a dedicated Caregiver, providing vital support to individuals in their homes and community settings. Working Monday through Friday evenings, you will be a trusted companion and caregiver, delivering personalized care with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health by observing vital signs and overall well-being, reporting any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Assist with Medication Reminders Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning common areas and personal spaces Use specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely transfer individuals with mobility challenges Document care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and memory care practices Ability to perform CPR and First Aid confidently to respond effectively during emergencies Familiarity with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care planning processes Strong communication skills for working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or other special needs Physical stamina for heavy lifting and assisting residents with mobility or transfers Compassionate attitude with a focus on resident-centered care and social work principles Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual receives respectful, attentive care.
