In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attentive nature will help create a nurturing environment that empowers clients to thrive. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop rewarding relationships while delivering essential care services tailored to each individual's needs. Duties Specific shift we need a caregiver for- are Saturday and Sundays 7 am to 1 pm and 4 pm to 8 pm with same client. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safety Facilitate patient transfers using manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safety during mobility assistance Provide companionship and emotional support while engaging clients in meaningful activities to enhance mental well-being Maintain cleanliness of the home environment through light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing to promote a safe living space Assist with transportation for appointments or errands, ensuring safe and reliable client mobility within the community Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care including Alzheimer's and memory care, and hospice or home health experience is advantageous Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or medication administration are a plus Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting when necessary, while adhering to safety protocols Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities Experience working with residents' rights policies and understanding of care plans tailored to individual needs Flexibility to work various shifts in a home & community care setting with a compassionate attitude toward diverse client populations Join us in providing exceptional home care that transforms lives!
