What We're Looking For:
Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as hardworking and reliable caregivers. you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist with patient laundry when necessary Provide medication reminders Ensure patient safety Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required Assist patients with ambulation Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines Offer bathing assistance Perform light housekeeping Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided)
Preferred:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience

current CPR certification
Preferred:
current tuberculosis (TB) test
