Overview 8 Bed home plus in Goddard KS. Looking for a Part time med aid with additional hours available if desired. Fun environment!
HOURS 7AM-7PM 2
days a week to include 1 weekday a week and every other Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Duties Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and guidelines. Monitor patients for side effects and report any concerns to nursing staff. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Conduct routine checks of vital signs and report any significant changes. Provide support for tube feeding, catheter care, and other specialized medical needs as required. Utilize EMR Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents while promoting dignity and respect. Requirements Certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent qualification. Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or acute care environments preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and vital signs assessment. Familiarity with caregiving practices for seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring hospice or memory care. Proficiency in medical documentation processes and understanding of HIPAA regulations. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
