Experienced Caregiver -

One-on-One Private Families Pay:

$21-$23 per hour

Overland Park, KS Hallmark Homecare is looking for experienced, dependable caregivers interested in working one-on-one with private families throughout Overland Park and surrounding communities. Rather than rotating between several clients each day, many opportunities through the Hallmark Homecare registry allow caregivers to build a consistent relationship with one private family. Caregivers work independently and directly for the families they are matched with and are not employed by Hallmark Homecare.

Typical Opportunities:

Most opportunities offer approximately 15-25 hours per week. Typical shifts are 4-7 hours. Daytime, evening, and weekend schedules may be available. Some families require 30-40+ hours per week. Overnight opportunities are occasionally available. Opportunities are matched based on your experience, location, availability, and the needs of the family.

Care Responsibilities May Include:

Personal care and ADL assistance Bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Dementia and memory care Mobility and transfer assistance Fall prevention and safety supervision Medication reminders Meal preparation Companionship Transportation and errands Light housekeeping and laundry

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of professional, hands-on caregiving experience Dementia experience strongly preferred CNA certification preferred but not required Strong communication skills Dependable and professional Able to work independently in a private home Reliable transportation Valid driver's license and current auto insurance Professional references Ability to complete required background screening Why Caregivers Join the
