Job Description
Full-Time - Limited positions available Menifee Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation is looking for compassionate, dependable Personal Care Aides/Hospitality Aides to join our care team. This role is a great entry point into a healthcare career — as you gain experience with us, we offer a tuition program that covers the cost of STNA training for the right candidate. We Pay For Your STNA Certification Not certified yet? No problem. Start with us as a Personal Care Aide/Hospitality Aide, and through our Nursing Assistant Tuition Program, Menifee Meadows covers the cost of your STNA training class and your first state exam attempt (up to $850) through Ky Healthcare Training. And once you're certified, it doesn't stop there — we reimburse you 100% of what you paid into the program, distributed in equal installments every quarter throughout your first year with us. - Answer all call-lights and call-bells promptly, reporting resident needs to aides/nurses when you're unable to assist
- Pull garbage from resident rooms and tidy over-bed tables
- Pass and refresh water at bedside, confirming the correct liquid consistency is within reach
- Stock linen carts with washcloths, towels, sheets, bedspreads, and underpads
- Transport soiled linen bins to and from the laundry area throughout the shift, and stock gloves in rooms and bathrooms as needed
- Tidy and stock shower rooms, removing soiled linens as needed
- Assist with meal tray delivery and pick-up, verifying the correct resident and meal consistency and offering alternatives and additional fluids
- Assist with resident transportation to and from the dining area and activities
- Strip linens from unoccupied beds and redress with fresh linens, disposing of soiled linens properly
- Check nourishment rooms for cleanliness, removing expired or unlabeled food and returning trays/dishes/utensils to the kitchen
- On evening/night shifts: inspect and clean wheelchairs as needed and perform walking rounds on the hour
- Treat every resident with dignity, patience, and respect, and communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team What We're Looking For
- No certification required to start — willingness to enroll in our STNA tuition program is a plus
- A caring, patient, and dependable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout a shift
- Reliable availability, including some weekends/holidays as needed o Attendance will be evaluated as a prerequisite to sponsorship
