Role Overview:

As a Home Caregiver at FirstLight Home Care, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and supportive care to our clients in their homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure that each client feels valued and respected, contributing to their overall well-being and quality of life. This is an on-site position located in Lexington, Kentucky, where you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing companionship and engaging conversation with clients. Preparing and serving nutritious meals tailored to clients' needs. Assisting clients with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment. Documenting care provided and observing client conditions to report any changes.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Prior experience in home care or a clinical setting. Strong communication skills to connect with clients and their families. Comfortable with assisting clients in daily living activities. Compassionate demeanor and a commitment to providing quality care. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids Willing to travel in Lexington and surrounding areas.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available for Full-Time, Part-Time, or Temporary roles with availability Monday through Sunday.

Location:

This position is located in client homes in Lexington, Kentucky(Fayette county) and all surrounding counties.
