Job Description

Join Sevita as an Overnight Caregiver in our Personal Care & Service team, supporting individuals in home and community settings. You'll provide safe overnight supervision, assist with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities, and offer calm, reassuring companionship. Following individualized care plans, you'll document observations, report changes, and collaborate with an empathetic, inclusive team. Responsibilities Provide compassionate overnight personal care and supervision in clients' homes or community settings Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, and safe transfers Monitor clients overnight, ensuring comfort, safety, and timely response to needs Offer companionship and emotional support while respecting client dignity and independence Follow individualized care plans and accurately document services provided Communicate changes in condition to supervisors and clinical team Support light housekeeping and meal preparation as needed Adhere to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards Collaborate with team members to deliver person-centered, high-quality care Required Skills Personal care assistance Safe patient transfer and mobility support Medication reminders (non-clinical) Vital signs monitoring basics Infection control and hygiene Documentation and reporting Household support (light housekeeping, meals) Crisis prevention and de-escalation Confidentiality and HIPAA awareness Time management and reliability
