This vital role involves creating a safe, nurturing environment while fostering growth, development, and well-being. As a Caregiver, you will play a key part in promoting positive experiences through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and effective communication with families. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve while developing your skills in early childhood education and caregiving. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, creativity, and social skills. Ensure the safety of children by adhering to child supervision best practices and behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress, needs, and any concerns. Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers. Follow mandated reporting laws to report any signs of abuse or neglect promptly and appropriately. Maintain a clean, organized environment that complies with health and safety standards including first aid and CPR protocols. Skills Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs. Proven experience caring for children across different age groups, including infants, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children. Strong background in childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that foster learning and fun while supporting developmental milestones. Knowledge of behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in children. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training preferred. Excellent communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Classroom or daycare experience along with babysitting or nannying roles is highly valued. Pay:
