We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Life Enrichment Specialist to provide one-on-one in-home support to our valued client. About the Role As a Life Enrichment Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Clients need full hands on with mobility, living independently with four friendly cats. We're looking for a caregiver who can bring patience, organization, and warmth to this daily routine.

Responsibilities Schedule :

Monday thru Friday 9am-3pm (Will be 40 hours per week) Gender preference: Female caregiver preferred.

Race/nationality preference:

Any race or nationality is welcome, as long as the caregiver can communicate clearly and be understood by the client.

Smoking in the home:

Caregiver should be comfortable working in a smoking environment.

Animals in the home:

Yes mid size dog

Travel/errands:

Yes, occasional transportation and errands may be needed, including doctor appointments and medication pickup.

Home environment:

Clean and lived-in. Client Mobility and Safety The client uses a wheelchair approximately 90% of the time and does very little walking. He is a significant fall risk and has a below-the-knee prosthetic leg. He is generally able to complete his own bathing, dressing, and pull-up changes, but may need caregiver assistance with tasks requiring fine motor skills and with safety as needed. Current Care Needs The caregiver should be dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to stay productive during periods when the client is resting or sleeping.

Duties may include:

Preparing breakfast Preparing a light snack as needed. Washing dishes and keeping the kitchen tidy. Laundry. Light housekeeping. Cleaning the bathroom. Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Medication pickup and occasional errands. Transporting or accompanying the client to doctor appointments as needed. Assisting with fine-motor tasks that may be difficult for the client. Providing mobility awareness and fall-prevention support. Completing household tasks and maintaining a clean environment while the client rests. The client enjoys piddling around in the yard and spending time in the garage. He also enjoys fishing but is no longer physically able to participate as he once did. A caregiver who can engage him in conversation about outdoor activities, garage projects, or fishing may be a good personality match.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
