Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various caregiving techniques and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

SCHEDULE

Monday thru Friday 8am-4pm Caregiver Match Summary The client is seeking a female caregiver who is kind, calm, patient, and understanding, particularly regarding anxiety and personal routines. She lives alone in a very neat, well-organized home and would do best with someone who respects her preferences, communicates gently, and provides steady reassurance without rushing her. Health and Mobility She uses a rollator walker for mobility and cannot stand for more than two to three minutes at a time without needing to sit down. Caregivers should remain attentive during transfers, bathing, dressing, and any activity that requires standing or walking. A safety-conscious caregiver who is comfortable assisting a client with limited endurance is essential. Care Needs The caregiver will assist with: Bathing and personal hygiene Dressing and grooming Laundry Mobility support and fall-prevention supervision Transportation to appointments and errands Occasional longer-distance medical travel, as one of the client's physicians is located out of town and appointments occur approximately every two to three months Providing calm companionship and emotional support The client enjoys window shopping and going to the movies when she feels able. A caregiver who can make outings feel safe, unrushed, and enjoyable would be a strong fit. Home and Preferences The client lives alone. The home is very neat and orderly. There are no animals in the home; the client is allergic to cats and dogs. There is no smoking in the home. Best Caregiver Match The ideal caregiver will be dependable, gentle, organized, and respectful of the client's established routines and preferences. Because the client experiences anxiety and agoraphobia, she needs someone who can offer reassurance, remain calm under stress, and understand that some tasks or outings may take extra time. A caregiver who is impatient, dismissive, overly forceful, or unable to understand and respect the client's individual ways would not be a good fit.
