The caregiver role is vital for individuals who depend on assistance with their daily living activities. As a caregiver, you will provide compassionate and reliable support, helping clients maintain their independence and wellbeing.
Responsibilities:
Remind clients to take their prescribed medications punctually Assist clients with mobility both inside the home and in outdoor environments Provide personal care and hygiene assistance with dignity and respect Support clients in completing recommended exercises to promote health Accompany clients on shopping trips or run errands on their behalf when necessary Perform light housekeeping tasks, including meal preparation, that clients are unable to manage themselves Report any unusual occurrences or concerns promptly to office staff and family members Respond quickly and responsibly in emergency situations Accurately document days and hours worked on agency care sheets
Requirements:
Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required; comprehensive paid training, including CPR, is provided Commitment to following health and safety standards Knowledge of housekeeping duties and meal preparation, with attention to dietary restrictions A respectful and compassionate attitude, with excellent bedside manner Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills Physical stamina to perform required tasks effectively High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a drug screening and background check Reliable transportation is essential
