Westside Habilitation Center is seeking dependable, compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Care Professionals (DCPs) on our 2:00 PM-10:00 PM shift . Direct Care Professionals provide hands-on support and supervision to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. Schedule 2:00 PM-10:00 PM shift Full-time position Employees are scheduled two consecutive days off each week Weekend and holiday availability is required as part of our 24-hour residential operation Job Responsibilities Direct Care Professionals assist residents with their daily needs while promoting independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities may include:

Providing supervision and assistance to residents in their group home Assisting with activities of daily living and personal care as needed Supporting residents with meals, activities, appointments, and community outings Helping residents work toward individualized goals and greater independence Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment Documenting services and important information regarding resident care Following individual plans, behavioral supports, and facility policies Communicating concerns or changes in a resident's condition to the appropriate supervisor or nursing staff Transporting residents when appropriately licensed and assigned Passing medications when CMA-certified and assigned to medication administration duties Working cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors, nursing staff, QIDPs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team Qualifications Must be dependable and able to report to work as scheduled Must have a genuine interest in working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities Must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position Previous direct care, caregiving, healthcare, or residential experience is helpful but not required Chauffeur's License and CMA certification are encouraged and provide opportunities for increased pay Opportunities for Growth Westside Habilitation Center encourages employees who are interested in building a career with our organization.
