Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance, including those with disabilities and dementia. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and attention. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal hygiene. Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, particularly for those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Assist with patient monitoring, ensuring safety and comfort at all times. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to assist clients with mobility or transfers. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in all interactions. Work collaboratively with other caregivers and healthcare staff in group home settings. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with dementia care techniques is a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is beneficial. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
