We are a premier home care company in Baton Rouge, serving the Capital Region area. Our services cater to assisting the elderly and disabled; ranging from light to complete care assistance with all activities of daily living. Having experience in care giving is always a plus, but not necessarily required. Lots of the skills needed can be taught. Others can't be taught- like integrity, honesty, and work-ethic. Our standards are high and we expect each individual to be a team player. Flexibility to change, problem solving skills, reliability and having fun are the must- haves for this position. Being in a service -oriented industry, our team operates in a fast pace environment and flourishes with team members that initiate activity. We look for opportunities to go over and beyond for our clients and for our co-workers to have a positive impact. This position has other requirements, such as: Availability up to 32 hours weekly from morning, even or night shift (you will start temporary and advance in hours from there), ability to get TB tested or documentation of one within the last year , CPR / first aid certified or ability to get certified, must meet our background check and reference check criteria

responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Companionship and conversation Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation Medication and appointment reminders Memory Impairment or Alzheimer's Care Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect Ability to communicate with clients (family members) in a friendly manner Complete and provide a criminal background check and drug screen Additional requirements such as Tb test and CPR-ADE-1st aide will need to be completed among hire Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance ( if driving) Previous experience necessary - we will train you to refresh your care Please submit your resume and a letter stating "Why" you think that you would be a good fit for this job
