Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), hospice care, and managing residents' 's needs. Skilled in performing patient monitoring tasks such as vital signs measurement, medication administration, and recognizing emergency signs requiring first aid or CPR intervention. Familiarity with care tools like Hoyer lifts, patient transfer methods, and manual handling procedures to ensure safe mobility assistance. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams or social workers. Ability to perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients. Experience working with individuals with autism or other intellectual disabilities; understanding of HIPAA compliance and home & community care standards.
