  • Part-time, Full-time Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Care Staff to join our team in providing high-quality care to residents in a supportive living environment.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about assisting others and making a positive impact on their lives. The position involves working closely with individuals who may have developmental disabilities, dementia, or other health needs, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home and community care is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidates. This is a paid position committed to fostering a respectful and caring atmosphere. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document accordingly using EMR systems Monitor vital signs and observe residents for any changes in health status Provide personal care and support during meal preparation and feeding as needed Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care strategies Operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe transfers Engage residents in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas to ensure a safe environment Document care provided accurately and report any concerns to supervisory staff Drive residents to appointments or activities when required, adhering to safety protocols Qualifications High school diploma / GED Acceptable driving record, valid driver's license and access to an automobile that can be used to transport individuals Acceptable
CORI, DPPC
record request, and background fingerprinting check required Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities is helpful. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients. A compassionate attitude toward providing care and support to individuals in need. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining client records and documentation.
