Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, and outings Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Provide attentive care for infants and young children, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child progress, behavior, and daily routines Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and well-being are maintained at all times Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations while maintaining calmness and professionalism Support children with developmental needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing tailored caregiving Skills Experience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Strong activity planning skills to create engaging, educational experiences for children Ability to manage behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques Excellent communication skills for parent updates and collaboration with families Familiarity with daycare or classroom experience, babysitting, nannying or youth programs teaching experience preferred Certification in first aid and CPR required; ongoing training in childhood safety standards is a plus Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to nurturing young minds!
