In this vital role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals in a variety of settings, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Your positive attitude and attentive approach will help foster a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring assistance with daily activities and specialized care needs. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, mental status, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with meal consumption as needed Support medication administration following proper procedures and HIPAA privacy standards Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through regular cleaning, laundry, and organization to promote a safe environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident's to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Follow individualized care plans designed by healthcare professionals to meet each resident's unique needs Skills Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes setting Knowledge of patient observation techniques and patient monitoring practices Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism Ability to perform CPR and basic first aid confidently in emergency situations Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times Competence in caring for residents with disabilities or requiring long-term care support Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and families Join us in providing exceptional caregiving that enriches lives!
