Job Description

CHD In-Home Therapy team is looking for creative, energetic and enthusiastic new members to join their team. We are looking for Therapeutic Training and Support Worker to work within the IHT team. The TTS role is available in Ware, MA. Therapeutic Training and Support Workers provide structured one-to-one "skill building" for youth (age 0-20), including supporting, coaching, and training in areas such as interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution. TTS will work in collaboration and under the supervision of a Master's Level Clinician to implement the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan designed to address the youth's mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs. This includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth's emotional and mental health needs. Assists with care coordination with other community providers that are involved in the youth's treatment. Supports and assists the family in exploring community resources and explore natural supports.
Requirements:
Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. Must be 21 years of age or older, computer literate, Minimum of 1-year experience working with emotionally disturbed children/adolescents.

A successful Therapeutic Training and Support Worker (TT&S) working with In-Home Therapy (IHT) possesses strong communication skills, a deep understanding of family dynamics, the ability to build rapport with youth and caregivers, cultural sensitivity, a collaborative approach with other professionals, and a commitment to utilizing evidence-based practices to effectively support individuals in their home environment, while actively engaging the family in the treatment plan and respecting their strengths and needs throughout the process.
Schedule of Work:
As assigned by the clinical supervisor to accommodate and respond to client needs. All Therapeutic Training and Support Worker must be able to work during high volume appointment periods (later afternoons and evenings). Pay range:
$27.00/hr. - $30.00/hr. based on experience.
