A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.

Primary Duties:
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and social interaction. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, tidying, dishes, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment. Assist with errands, shopping, and other routine household tasks as needed. Prepare meals and snacks according to the client's preferences and dietary needs.
Additional/ As-Needed Duties:
Assist with basic personal care needs, such as grooming, dressing, and toileting, as needed. Provide medication reminders as directed by the client's care plan. Provide support with safe mobility and daily routines as appropriate. Offer support and supervision for clients with memory loss or cognitive changes. Observe and communicate any changes in the client's needs, condition, or routine to the appropriate family member or care team.
Requirements:
6 months of experience in caregiving, home care, companionship, homemaking, or a related role. Compassionate, patient, and approachable , with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable engaging clients in friendly conversation and meaningful activities and encouraging social interaction. Experience with or willingness to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and errands . Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for groceries and other client-related errands. Ability to pass a background check and communicate clearly in English. Why Work With Us?
