Our ideal candidate is someone who can understand the day-to- day pressures and challenges our residents are facing. We are also looking for a Residential Support Staff member who can show the residents respect, enforce the house rules, and provide the structure and safety that someone with substance abuse issues needs to overcome their dependency and move forward. Qualifications At least two (2) years of college and/or two (2) years' experience working with individuals with substance abuse. Must be at least 21 years old (or 18 years old with an AA degree) A skill set that includes the ability to interface in a professional manner with Linwood staff, parents, school system personnel and other professionals Excellent oral, written and presentation skills Candidate must be able to successfully pass background and
Drug Testing Responsibilities Hours:
12 hr Shift (8am -8pm)/ 12hr Shift (8pm-8am) Weekdays/Weekends Enforce house rules, including curfew Managing day-to-day operations of the house Ensure all supplies needed for the house are available Make sure the interior of the house is always clean and well- maintained Maintaining inventory of all furnishings and equipment in the house, including replacements when needed Supervise clients chores/ house duties Assisting clients with time management for group, appointments, grocery shopping, work, etc
