Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Caregiver to provide exceptional support to individuals in a home setting. This vital role involves assisting residents with ensuring their safety, and promoting independence while fostering a warm and respectful environment. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive approach, making a meaningful difference in the lives of those they help. This position offers the rewarding opportunity to build trusting relationships. Duties Observe hanges in health status, and document findings accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer medications safely following care plans and medication administration protocols, ensuring timely delivery and proper documentation. Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning routines and ensuring adherence to infection control standards. Implement patient monitoring strategies to ensure safety during activities. Follow resident's rights policies diligently while delivering respectful, person-centered care that promotes dignity and independence. Experience Candidates should possess prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as intellectual disabilities is highly valued. Familiarity with knowledge of patient observation techniques. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in medication administration, CPR/First Aid certification, and understanding of HIPAA compliance.
