Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly Support medication administration following prescribed guidelines and maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs Utilize proper patient transfer methods and equipment such as Hoyer lifts to ensure safe mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation tasks Document care activities accurately in care plans and communicate effectively with team members regarding client progress Skills Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice support techniques Ability to perform patient observation, monitor vital signs, and recognize signs of distress or emergencies such as first aid or CPR certification is preferred Experience working with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is a plus Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and team members about resident's rights and personalized care plans Manual handling skills including heavy lifting and patient transfer methods to ensure safety during mobility assistance Familiarity with HIPAA standards to protect client confidentiality at all times Capable of assisting with transportation needs within the community or to medical appointments Join us in providing compassionate caregiving that truly makes a difference!
