Duties Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in food handling and kitchen areas Support residents with dementia or Alzheimer's by implementing memory care strategies and creating a safe environment Maintain detailed documentation of care provided, patient observations, and updates in compliance with healthcare regulations Engage in light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and ensuring overall hygiene within the facility or home setting Qualifications Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, group homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or hospice care experience are advantageous Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or dementia requires patience and understanding Knowledge of medication administration procedures and vital signs monitoring is essential for providing safe patient care Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting residents with mobility or transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident's Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and healthcare team members Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or overnight as needed Join us in delivering compassionate caregiving that transforms lives!
