Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently; candidate must be willing to utilize critical thinking/problem solving strategies daily and not rely on the family to support them every single shift. Comfortable with hygiene and mobility support for an adult up to 250 lbs (not a hoyer lift as client is mobile) Required certifications (training sessions are paid by the hour and fees are reimbursed): Must obtain a CMT within 30 days of hire. • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or educational settings required
• Knowledge of vital signs and medication administration is a plus, you will be required to obtain a certified med tech license if you do not already have one.
• Familiarity with working in school settings with vocational programming for young adults with disabilities, nursing homes or similar healthcare settings is beneficial
