Job Description

Overview We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors, children, and individuals with disabilities by promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Caregivers will work in private homes, group homes, and community settings, providing personalized care while building meaningful relationships with clients and their families. Duties & Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Provide companionship and emotional support while encouraging social interaction and independence. Administer medication as directed and monitor clients for changes in health or behavior. Assist with mobility, transfers, and transportation to appointments, school, therapy sessions, and community activities. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Accurately document care provided and communicate any concerns or changes in client condition to supervisors and family members. Support hospice clients with compassionate end-of-life care when needed. Provide care and supervision for children with developmental, intellectual, physical, or behavioral disabilities. Participate in age-appropriate, engaging, and playful activities that encourage learning, creativity, communication, and social development. Encourage community inclusion by accompanying children to parks, playgrounds, libraries, recreational programs, community events, and other outings. Support children in developing life skills, social skills, and confidence while promoting independence in a safe and nurturing environment. Ensure children's safety during indoor and outdoor activities while creating a fun, supportive, and engaging atmosphere. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, therapists, teachers, and other members of the care team regarding the child's progress and needs. Qualifications Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, nursing home staff member, group home caregiver, or working with children with disabilities is preferred. Knowledge of senior care, pediatric care, and patient care techniques is highly desirable. Experience supporting individuals with autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or other special needs is an asset. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred or willingness to obtain certification. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about helping others. Energetic, playful, and enthusiastic about engaging children in meaningful activities that support their growth and development. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed to meet client needs. Why Join Our Team?
