Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and those requiring additional care. As a Caregiver, you will work closely with clients in various settings, including group homes, nursing homes, and private residences, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions. Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including walking or driving clients to appointments. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Support hospice care as needed, providing comfort during end-of-life stages. Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing home staff, or group home caregiver is preferred. Knowledge of senior care practices and patient care techniques is essential. Familiarity with CPR certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various care settings. Flexibility in schedule availability to meet client needs effectively.
